While there is no such thing as a typical forensic inquiry or a typical forensic text, all inquiries begin with a question: here we have what police claimed was a suicide note. The question for Dr. Olsson was whether this note had been authored - not just written - by the deceased, a young male in the U.S. The alternative scenario was that others had forced him to write it and had contributed to his death.
