One of the forensic tasks carried out by Dr Olsson and his colleagues is the restoration of covert audio evidence.
Owing to the restrictions on investigators regarding the placement of microphones and other surveillance equipment the quality of covert and surveillance audio is often poor. We have restored audio evidence in the past which has been critical to the solving of a number of serious crimes.
We use the latest audio software to do this, including programs which have been devised by our programmers at the Forensic Linguistics Intelligence.
