Dr Olsson and his colleagues are sometimes asked to evaluate the language of court transcripts and to compare these with other samples of language used by defendents or police officers in an inquiry.
The example here concerns a defendent who was found guilty and sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. The Appeal Court later determined that officers had falsified statements and fabricated evidence against him.
